Lily held her mother's hand tightly and took a deep breath. Then after closing her eyes, she ran forward through the brick wall. Her heart began to race when she opened her eyes to see the huge red train in front of her. She could hardly believe it. After years of waiting she was finally here, at platform 9 ¾.

"Well, this is it," her father, Harry said from behind her.

She wheeled around to face him. He smiled and gave her a huge hug.

"I'm gonna miss you dad," she told him, trying to hold back the tears.

Lily had dreamed of this moment for years. She couldn't wait to go to Hogwarts and join her brothers and cousins. Though, she never thought she would cry. Harry set her down, letting her mother, Ginny say her goodbyes.

"Be a good girl now and remember, have fun. Don't worry you'll be fine, just as long as you don't listen to your brothers."

Lily laughed as her brother James came out from the wall. He was a lofty boy with messy black hair and brown eyes. He was three years older than she was, starting his fourth year at Hogwarts. Her other brother, Albus was a year younger than him.

"Thanks a lot mum," James called out to them.

Ginny sighed, walking over to her son. She smiled before giving him a hug.

"Mum," he whined.

"Please at least try to stay out of trouble,"

James laughed.

"I'm afraid that's impossible. I am Harry Potter's son, remember,"

Harry chuckled.

"He has a point,"

"Yeah, I know. It's a mystery how you didn't get yourself killed."

Ginny gave her son a quick kiss on the check and took Harry's hand.

"You better be off, the train will be leaving soon,"

James nodded and starting walking up to the train. Lily followed close behind him, hoping not to get lost. She then stopped.

"Where's Albus?" she said, searching for her brother through the immense crowd.

"Who knows," James said, hurrying her along, "Probably with Malfoy,"

Lily walked on, still looking for Albus. She knew he was right. From what she'd heard of Hogwarts, Albus and Scorpius Malfoy seemed to be inseparable. She didn't trust him and she knew her family didn't either. She knew they were only friends because they were both sorted into Slyitherin house, but it still bothered her.

Lily felt much more relaxed when they had gotten on the train. It was a struggle but they eventually found an empty compartment. James let out a sigh, lounging across the seat. He closed his eyes, not looking like he was going to open them anytime soon. Lily didn't mind though, she was used to occupying herself. After all she'd had to when her brothers were away at Hogwarts. She mulled over what magazine to read before bringing out her favourite, 'The Quibbler'. Not many people read it. Everyone said it was bonkers. However Lily loved it! She didn't mind if all of it was daft stories, they were excellent daft stories! She had been ever so excited when she'd heard that she was named after the editor's daughter. Then she almost fainted when she found out that her twins, Lorcan and Lysander were in James's year as Hogwarts! She felt rather jittery now.

There were three loud knocks at the door.

"Come in!" Lily called, wondering if it could be Albus.

She wasn't surprised to see she'd been wrong. Still, she wasn't disappointed.  Three people walked through the door, smiling down at her. There were two girls and one boy. Both of the girls were quite tall. One of them had pale skin with lots of freckles. She had long, straight blonde hair and blue eyes. The other also had blue eyes, though she had dark skin and curly brown hair. The boy was much smaller, obviously younger than them. Like the first girl he had lots of freckles and blue eyes. His hair was a blazing red.

"Hey guys!" Lily welcomed them.

"Hey Lily," the boy said, taking a seat next to her.

The two girls leaned against the door, giggling at James who was still fast asleep.

"He looks shattered," the blonde girl whispered.

"Yeah, I know. Be careful not to wake him up," Lily warned them.

The girls looked at each other, grinning.

"Molly?"

The blonde girl had a quiet laugh.

"Don't worry, I won't," she sighed, "Roxanne and I were actually just dropping Hugo off. Rose ditched him, no surprise, her being little miss popular and everything."

Lily laughed loudly, trying hard not to wake James herself. Rose was Hugo's older sister by two years. She was in the same year as Albus, and Hugo was just starting like Lily. As for Molly and Roxanne, they were her cousins. Molly was her Uncle Percy's daughter and Roxanne was her Uncle George's daughter. They were even more inseparable than her brother and Scorpius. They also both had siblings. Molly had a sister called Lucy and Roxanne had a brother called Fred. The Weasley family had always been a huge family.

Molly and Roxanne left, closing the door behind them as quietly as they could. Lily put down her magazine, giving Hugo a warm smile.

"So, you excited?"

Hugo grinned.

"Excited doesn't cover it. I can't wait! There's so many things to think about, like what house we're gonna be sorted into."

Lily nodded her head. What house she'd be sorted into had always been a huge deal for her. Her whole family had been sorted into Gryffindor apart from Albus. She remembered her parent's faces when they'd found out. Lily had never seen them so shocked before. They said that it didn't matter. Harry had told him time and time again that Severus Snape, a very brave man who he was named after was in Slyitherin house. Yet, she could also see the disappointment in their faces.

"You ok, Lily?"

Lily blinked and looked up at Hugo.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine."
So I thought I'd have a little break from my twilight fan fiction and write a Harry Potter one! I've been wanting to do this for a while. I know the title is incredibly boring, I'm going to change it as soon as I think of a better one. I also know that it seems like a typical next generation story. Don't worry, I'm just getting started. I shall hopefully make it more exciting as the story goes along. Hope you enjoy and don't forget to comment!
Harry Potter and all of the characters belong to J.K Rowling.
